Umed Hyderi, receptionist

 

As a receptionist, Umed Hyderi understands the importance of building relationships with residents, families, site leaders and staff. His calm demeanor helps others when it is stressful, and his positive attitude is infectious. Umed finds work to keep himself busy by helping other departments or spending time with residents. Since Umed has the best interests of the people at the site at heart, he naturally creates an environment that is efficient and sustainable.

Umed finds ways to get the most done with the time available to keep the site running smoothly. When asked for help, he says ‘no problem, I can get that done for you. Another staff member was struggling to get ballots cut out for residents to recognize staff and even though he was busy with other things Umed offered to help her. He came up with a technique to speed up the cutting. It was a simple act that supported a coworker, residents and other staff in the building.

He respects the people in the community, and the items used within. Umed has moved and unpacked a lot of medical and office supplies. He takes care to ensure any items being moved are handled carefully and put in the appropriate places.
