When we are good stewards, we use all our resources responsibly, acting with the future in mind. Our people, our finances, our environment and our reputation are all essential to continuing our mission. We must honour them and be creative to ensure we use all our resources wisely to decrease waste, increase effectiveness and build sustainability.

Who is a model of stewardship for you?

Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier. Be the living expression of God's kindness: kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile.

Mother Teresa

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, as smile, a kind word, a listening ear, a honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

Leo Buscaglia

Christ has no body now but yours
No hands, no feet on earth but yours.
Yours are the eyes through which He looks compassion on this world.
Christ has no body now on earth but yours.

St. Teresa of Avila
